1/18/2022 10:15:53 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 18: The workers of Dogra Front (DF) and Shiv Sena (SS) under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta took out a massive protest rally in Jammu city against the encroachers of the JDA land in Roop Nagar.
The party president stated that political parties are playing petty politics over the entire matter and are trying to give it a communal shape which is very far from reality. The land belongs to Jammu Development Authority land falling under Khasra No 1193 and 1206 which has been auctioned by the JDA in 2014.
The land has been encroached since past 2-3 decades and than in 2014 the land was auctioned by the JDA to the locals through a transparent process and a case was filed in the court whose ruling has been to allot the possession to the allottees of the JDA .
After the court ruling, the anti encroachment drive was initiated and the land has been freed by the JDA and local authorities.
People like Mehbooba Mufti and other political parties like Congress, Apni Party have been supporting the encroachers and claiming it as a cleansing of Gujjars but on the contrary it is just one family who has encroached the land and has nothing to do with Gujjars.
The party president further stated that land grabber has no religion he can be a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian or a Gujjar, he will still be an encroacher.
Gupta congratulated the VC JDA Pankaj Mangotra and Div Com Raghav Langar for the valiant effort as they have making sure that the law takes it course and Jammu should prosper.
The party people who were present at the time of protest were Birbal, Ashish, Sushil, Sampuran, Bantu, Prem, Kalu, Fauji, Lovely, Brij, Ashuk and several others.
