Farmers, youth should unite to defeat BJP: Tony
1/18/2022 10:20:52 PM
Early Times Report
SUCHETGARH, Jan 18: Imbibing confidence among the farmer community to counter the anti-farmer and anti-minority BJP in the upcoming Assembly Polls in five states, DDC Member Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony on Tuesday appealed to farmers to get united for ensuring defeat of saffron party.
In a statement issued to media persons, the DDC member gave a clarion call to the farmers to make sure that BJP faces debacles in all the ensuing Assembly polls ahead of Lok Sabha polls in 2024. He said that farmers should teach a befitting lesson to BJP for its overtures against the tiller community and the minorities because the way the Saffron party is dealing with these two entities in the country, it has no right to be in power in any state, UT or the country. He cautioned people not to fall prey to the deceptive moves of the BJP as this party can stoop very low for satiating its vested interests.
"It is time to stay away from tall promises and Jumlas of the BJP as these used to be at peak during the time of elections", Tony said, adding that the party will forget everything which it promised soon after the elections as was seen earlier in case of Rs 15 lakh in countrymen's accounts, 2 crore jobs per year and so many more. He said that BJP is only proficient in spreading hatred among different and playing divisible politics and no other political party can compete with BJP over this.
Tony said that election is the time to teach BJP a lesson for forcing the country to face highest ever unemployment rate, lowest ever GDP, atrocities on SCs and Backward Classes, record breaking suicides by farmers, over 750 deaths of farmers in protests against three farm laws, alarming ratio of rapes in the country; poor health infra snatching highest numbers of lives of people during the first and second waves of corona, sky-rocketing diesel and petrol prices, inflation as never before, worst kind of management of transportation of people during lockdown, dismal foreign investment and for making anti-farmers and anti-labour union laws for benefitting rich and mighty industrialist friends.
Tony said if the youth of India want jobs, farmers and labourers want fair deal they should root-out BJP from every nook and corner of the country as BJP is best in opposition and worst in government.
