| GDC Kathua organizes webinar on Netaji Bose | | |

KATHUA, Jan 22: On the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chander Bose, Department of History GDC Kathua in collaboration with NSS units of the college organized an online webinar on the topic "Life and role of Netaji Subash Chander Bose in the Indian National Freedom Struggle Movement".
This programme was organized under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. Netaji Subash Chandra Bose's 126th birth anniversary on 23 January 2022 is observed as Prakram Diwas. The day is celebrated to honour and remember Netaji's indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation.
The Webinar was started with formal welcome note by Prof Manmohan Singh, Head of the Department of History and senior NSS Programme Officer GDC Kathua. More than fifteen volunteers and students participated in the symposium as a speaker.
Tania Sharma, Sem 5th, Nitish Pansotra Semester 3rd and Vaishali Sharma Semester 3rd stood first, second and third in the symposium. Abhishek Singh, Meenakshi Thakur, Abilasha Sharma and Amisha Devi all student of 3rd Semester acknowledged with consolation prizes. The other participating volunteers were honoured with participation certificates.
More than hundred volunteers attended the webinar.The entire event was conducted under the patronage of Incharge Principal, Prof Raj Kiran Sharma. Webinar was ended with a vote of thanks by Prof Ritu Kumar Sharma NSS Programme Officer. Prof Neha Bandral, NSS Programme Officer conducted the proceedings of the webinar. |
