Jammu, Jan 22: One of the prominent area in Jammu city is Bikram Chowk situated on the banks of river Tawi which remains abuzz with all trading activities as Ware House and Nehru Market falls in its west while famous shrine of Mata Mahakali popularly known as Bawe Wali Mata and historical Bahu Fort besides University of Jammu in its East and southern part of Jammu remains connected with this very place with rest of the Jammu.
The vital link between the city from south to north starts from Vikram Chowk in the form of Tawi bridge.
But what irritates a person is the bad shape of its adjoining roads. No maintenance is being carried out to these roads by the concerned authorities who seems to be under deep slumber. |
