| BNMS laments poor functioning of JKBOCWWB | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 1: Bhawan Nirman Mazdoor Sangh (BNMS), affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, held its meeting at Jammu under the chairmanship of Ashok Choudhary, General Secretary of the BNMS, in which members present in the meeting expressed their resentment for poor functioning of JKBOCWWB at district levels as portal of the JKBOCWWB which is being managed by the private party is not functioning satisfactory and workers renewal and new registration activities are at standing halt further the workers are running pillar to post for renewal of their labour cards as they have to wait for months together due to the negligence and carelessness of labour officers as renewal applications kept laying pending on their portal without any reasons and pick and choose are being done and due to this thousands of workers are waiting for filling up their education forms.
BNMS requested to Chairman JKBOCWWB for extending the date for accepting education assistance forms as due to corona restrictions workers could not completed their formalities and particularly in ALC office Jammu numbers of employees got infected due to corona and working was almost paralyzed for more than 20 days.
BNMS further demanded that JKBOCWWB portal may be handed over to NIC for smooth functioning.
Harbans Choudhary, senior leader of BMS Roop Lal, Balbender Singh, Sagar Chand, Mahesh Singh Sanjay Kumar, Surinder Kumar and Chuni Lal were present in the meeting. |
