Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 1: The residents of many villages in the Reasi district are up in arms against the LG administration as the roads in these villages are in dilapidated condition. Although, the locals raised the issue at multiple times with the concerned authorities but so far no action has been taken.
A group of residents said that the roads connecting Reasi with Baba Banda Bahadur, Simbal camp and other villages have developed ditches as well as pot-holes. They said that in the summer season as the dust flies off such roads since they have not been macadamized people face numerous problems.
The residents said that in winter season the ditches as well as pot-holes get filled with rain water thus leading to problems to them and all those who visit the areas due to one reason or other. They said that they raised the issue at different forums with the hope that there would be some relief adding that nothing has happened so far.
