Youth NC leader quits party, joins BJP

JAMMU, Feb 1: Prominent political and social personalities from Manjhakot (Rajouri) hailing from NC and other political parties as well as prominent social activists joined Bharatiya Janata Party at its party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina accompanied by J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta, BJP NEM & Headquarter Incharge Priya Sethi, DDC Member Shahid Iqbal, former MLA and former DC welcomed the new entrants into the party fold. BJP Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Aman Sharma, Naveen Jaiswal were also present on the occasion.
New entrants joined BJP in the leadership of former NC Student Wing leader & social activist Adv. Shaida Maqsood along with her supporters. Ravi Pandit, Sajawar Khan and others also joined BJP on the occasion.
Ravinder Raina welcomed the new entrants into the party and said that prominent political and social personalities are today joining the party even from the remotest border areas like Manjhakot. He welcomed Adv. Shaida and others and expressed confidence that her activities will strengthen the party in the border area and help the women folk as well as local youth. He said that people have now adopted the PM Modi's development polices though their heart knowing very well PM Modi has given unprecedented speed to the development of J&K.
Vibodh Gupta said that joining of Adv. Shaida into BJP has given a big jolt to NC in the Manjhakot area. He credited every BJP activist under the leadership of Ravinder Raina for joining of prominent women and youth into the party.
Priya Sethi said that BJP has successfully gained trust of common masses with the public oriented works and policies. She said that BJP is the best platform to serve the Nation and society with selfless efforts.
Adv. Shaida Maqsood thanked party senior leaders for their love and support and said that she will make sincerest efforts to abide by the principles of BJP. She said that she will concentrate on the value addition in the ongoing works while helping the local people in their needs, along with the organizational and development works.
