Well calculated budget focused to Aatmanirbhar Bharat: ASSOCHAM

CHANDIGARH, Feb 1: Calling it a well calculated budget, The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) today welcomed the first digital budget of the country presented by Union Finance Minister at New Delhi.
Appreciating the Union Budget presented by Union Finance Minister, A S Mittal, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Northern Council said, "The budget is focused on making India Aatmanirbhar and 5 trillion Economy in coming years. Finance Minister has covered all the sectors of the economy. We can call it a people friendly budget."
"Budget2022 is a landmark budget with a far-reaching positive impact towards the revival of the economy and to usher in the dawn of a new era," he added.
Talking about the announcements of new National Highways, Manik Batra, Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K Council said, "Logistics is an essential part of the economy in any country, enabling the movement of resources along supply chains to consumption centers. The announcement of new national highways and logistic parks at four locations will make the supply chain more robust and also reduce the cost of transportation."
"It is a well calculated budget focused to Aatmanirbhar Bharat," he added.
Finance Minister has given more stress to startups, MSMEs, Health and Education sector during the budget presented by the Finance minister.
Reacting on the Union Budget, Jitender Sodhi, Chairman, Himachal Pradesh State Council said, "Announcement on the push for High Tech, Chemical-Free Natural Farming in a Budget2022 is a welcoming step. Natural farming and Health care services together will benefit youth, women, farmers, and all the upper and lower sections of the community."
Jyoti prakash Gadia, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM Haryana State Development Council said, "It is a path breaking budget with substantial emphasis on capital expenditure in critical sectors like infrastructure, education, health and MSME, which will have far reaching impact on the growth trajectory of the economy to have sustainable development."
