| Commerce College clinches 2nd position in UT level quiz competition | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 3: J&K AIDS Control Society (JKSACS), H&ME Department, Govt of J&K organized an online quiz competition at three levels i.e, District level, Divisional level & UT level in which the students of all UG Colleges and PG Colleges and Professional Colleges participated. Students of Govt. S.P.M.R College of Commerce, Jammu Cadet Nishant Gupta and Cadet Aman Rai of Semester III participated in the quiz and secured 1st position at the two levels i.e, District and Divisional level and qualified for the UT Level Quiz in which the NCC Cadets of the College secured 2nd position and awarded a cash prize of Rs 15000.
Principal of the College, Prof. R.S Jamwal encouraged the students to enthusiastically participate in such literary events in order to boost the confidence of students and inculcate leadership qualities in them.
Further the Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated them for bringing laurels to the Institution. He also complemented Nodal officer, Prof. Savita Jamwal for the tireless efforts for guiding them.
Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club Prof. Savita Jamwal worked relentlessly in guiding and providing information to the participants.

Govt. of J&K has highly recommended and appreciated the Principal of the college and the Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club for their cooperation and support in implementing the National AIDS Control Programme in Jammu and Kashmir especially during the current COVID pandemic situation. |
