jammu, Feb 16: After openly opposing the anti-youth policies being pursued by the bureaucratic government in the Jammu and Kashmir Government, the UT BJP leadership of BJP has decided to brief central leadership about growing anger among people, especially among residents of the Jammu region.
Highly placed sources in BJP said that after completion of assembly elections of five states a delegation of the party from J&K will visit Delhi in this regard. The delegation will discuss all issues related to Jammu and Kashmir with the central leadership.
"Some Babus in the J&K administration are misleading the Union Government about achievements of various welfare schemes", a senior BJP leader told The Early Times.
Wishing anonymity, the same BJP leader said that a false impression has been created at the national level that the bureaucratic government in J&K is doing excellent work in all spheres.
"We will properly brief the high command about the real situation in J&K where anger among people is brewing due to autocratic attitude of bureaucrats", he said and pointed out that recent decisions taken by the UT administration has created anger among people of Jammu and Kashmir.
As reported earlier by this newspaper facing the anger of people regarding two 'anti-youth' taken by the UT administration, the BJP has decided to oppose Jammu and Kashmir administration and announced support to agitating youth."Both the decision are anti-people. We will oppose such decisions tooth and nail", spokesman of J&K BJP Abhinav Sharma told media while dubbing both the decisions as "unconstitutional and illegal".
"Recruitment process for border battalions was started much before implementation of Domicile concept in J&K. Many candidates have cleared physical tests and qualified for written test", Sharma said and made it clear that there was no reason to readvertise these posts.
