| Tawi Welfare Society distributes ration to needy | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 27: Tawi Welfare Society organised relief distribution function at Apnavan Sure Chak today in which free ration was distributed among the 100 needy families of 27 villages of Tawi Island and its adjoining area.
Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma Director School Education Jammu was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Society members welcomed the Guest by presenting a bouquet to him. A memento was was also presented as a token of love. Nand kishor senior member of Society briefed the Guest about the various activities of Society. He thanked the Guest for sparing his valuable time for the function and to bless the volunteers of Society. He added that they felt honored to have such a senior, dedicated and above all honest officer among them. Chief Guest in his address appreciated the work being done by the volunteers of Society and appealed all the youth to serve the Nation this or the that way. Dinesh Gupta former Secretary Red Cross also spoke on this occasion. Panch Lata Rajput and Panch Shakti Bhagat were also present in the function. |
