Modi Govt taking special care of J&K, no dearth of funds for UT: Kavinder

JAMMU, Mar 9: Prime Minister Modi led BJP Govt at the Centre is taking special care of J&K and there is no dearth of funds for its development.
This was stated by the former Dy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Kavinder Gupta while addressing a gathering during a function organized to kick-start a developmental work in Ward No: 54 here today.
Giving a further push to BJP Govt's agenda of overall development in J&K, the former Dy Chief Minister along with BJP District President Vinay Gupta, Secretary Vishal Gupta, Secretary BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal Kapil Gupta and Corporator Ward No: 54, Neeraj Lucky Puri kick-started developmental work i.e. blacktopping work of roads in Sector 5, 5A and 8 of Trikuta Nagar estimated to be completed at a cost of Rs. 45 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta said there is hardly any road or lane in the areas of this Ward where the developmental works have not been extended. Moreover due care has been taken of the proper sanitation and cleanliness in the area. He said that for the first time people of this Union Territory have been witnessing developmental works going on at full pace on ground. This is because of the BJP Govt at the Centre taking special care of J&K and funds being no restraint. He said that people acknowledge the performance and achievements of PM Modi led Govt and will definitely come forward to accomplish the target of 50-plus by voting for BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Lauding the Corporator of this Ward, Neeraj Puri for maintaining a continuous rapport with the people of the area, Kavinder said that full credit goes to him for these works and also for addressing multiple issues of the people of the Ward. He said that Neeraj Puri has been working relentlessly for the development of the Ward and welfare of its people. He added that people also remain in constant touch with their Corporator conveying to him their problems and issues from time to time and he gets these addressed at the earliest by taking up the matter with the concerned authorities.
Corporator Neeraj Puri thanked Kavinder Gupta and others present on the occasion for sparing the precious time to mark their presence at the work site. He assured to continue to work 24X7 as Sevak of the ward and its people and would leave no stone unturned in transforming the ward into a model ward in terms of overall development.
Meanwhile the former Dy Chief Minister also interacted with the people of the area taking stock of their problems. The locals highlighted a few of the problems and sought redressal of the same. After giving them a patient hearing, he assured to take up the said matter with the concerned authorities and get the same addressed at the earliest.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Nitin Sharma, Nimish Sharma, Supinder Kour, Rinku Manchanda, Honey Manchanda and Mohinder Kumar, District General Secretary Ankush Gupta, General Secretary Nayan Gupta, District Secretary Narinder Koki, Secretary Kapil Khurana, Nitin Gupta and Namish Gupta besides locals of the area.
