JAMMU, Mar 15: The 100th birthday of Dr. Pandit Uttam Chand Pathak Shastri, who led a dedicated life towards Sanskrit, is being celebrated on March 15, 2023 as his birth centenary year. On this occasion, Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan, along with various institutions having faith in Sanskrit in Jammu and Kashmir, plans to spread and expand Sanskrit language throughout the year, with the motto of "Gehe Gehe Sanskrit", in Jammu and Kashmir state throughout the year.
An organizing committee has been formed by the Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Trust with a view to administering it, which mainly consists of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan, Vishwasthali, Central Sanskrit University, Ranvir Campus Kot Bhalwal, Jammu, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu Under the joint aegis of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, a 15-day Sanskrit speech training camp is being organized at Central Sanskrit University Shri Ranveer Campus, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
Acharya Abhishek Kumar Upadhyay, Principal of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Vishwasthali, in his address, explained in detail the purpose of establishment of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan and the plan going on across the state.
Sham Lal Sharma, BJP UT vice-president, who came as the chief guest, said that today Jammu and Kashmir UT with the help of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan is making its important contribution in making India a world guru again. Vice Chancellor of SKUAST, Prof. J.P. Sharma said that today there is a need to move forward by connecting Indian culture and Sanskrit with technology.
