J&K Police Martyrs' Memorial Football Tournament commences today

SRINAGAR, Mar 16: Jammu and Kashmir Police is scheduled to organize 17th J&K Police Martyrs' Memorial Football Tournament - 2022 at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground Srinagar w.e.f March 17 to March 24, 2022.
S.J.M Gillani, ADGP Armed J&K shall be the Chief Guest on the inaugural ceremony to be held on March 17, 2022 at 1100 hours at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground Srinagar.
In this context, on behalf of ADGP Armed J&K, a meeting was chaired today by Shahid Mehraj- at Synthetic Turf TRC Ground Srinagar to review the arrangements and preparations made by the various committees/ sub-committees of the tournament whom different assignments have already been assigned by the Armed Police Hqrs. J&K to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event. The tournament shall be held under the overall Supervision of Syed Sajad Hussain-DySP Sports APHQ J&K.
The meeting was attended by Commandant JKAP 5th Bn., Commandant JKAP 9th Bn., SSP APCR Srinagar, SP Airf Shah, S.O to DIG Armed, DySP Crime Kashmir, DySP Telecom Kashmir, DySP Security Kashmir, Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Sgr, Miss. Nusrat Ara Divisional Sports Officer JKSC, Prof. B.A Shah Tournament Director MMFT, DySP Pers APHQ, Inspr. Kuldeep Handoo, Inspr. Sajad Ahmad, Inspr. Ranjeet Singh, Inspr. Mohammad Younis, Inspr. Nisar Ahmad I/C CST, I/C Sports Section ASI Mohammad Hussain, Hilal Ahmad Manager TRC Turf, I/c R&D Camp. Srinagar Mohd Subhan and other concerned officers.
During the meeting Shahid Mehraj laid emphasis upon the members of the committees who have been assigned different tasks related to the event to ensure that no loopholes remain in their accomplishments. He also briefed the meeting about various parameters of the event for its successful conduct.
All the members present in the meeting apprised the Chairman of the meeting about their respective assignments and arrangements made thereof.
