| Gandoh police recover stolen 63 kv transformer of pdd | | |

Doda, Mar 16: Police said that today on 16.03.2022 an information was received at Police Post Changa, through one Liyakat Ali son of Gh. Rasool Rather resident of Changa Tehsil Gandoh lineman of PDD department and presently posted in Soti Changa, stating there in that a 63 KV transformer of village Dugan Soti was lying on the road which is to be sent to workshop Kishtwar for repair and during intervening night of 15/16-03-2022 some unknown person have stolen the 63 KV transformer from there.
Acting swiftly after getting this information police party led by SHO PS Gandoh Vikram Singh recovered the said 63 KV transformer from Tawai Changa loaded in Mahindra Camper Load Carrier bearing registration No. JK14H/2386 driven by Owner namely Ghulam Hussain son Din Mohd R/O Thaloran Gandoh A/P Chopra Shop Udhampur who was arrested on spot with stolen property.
In this regard a case FIR No. 14/2022 U/S 379 IPC stands registered at Police Station Gandoh and investigation has been taken up.
Recovery of stolen property and arrest of accused was made under the supervision Shahzada Kabir Matto SDPO Gandoh. |
