| Corporators Amit Gupta, Gorav Chopra allege corruption in JMC | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 31: JMC Corporators Amit Gupta and Gorav Chopra today held a press conference regarding corruption in Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and said that common people suffer due to corrupt practices done by Jammu Municipal Corporation .
"We want to highlight the issues to LG Manoj Sinha that on one side you are working on developing Jammu on smart City and on other hand officials like this are make the common man's life hell. As we can understand how Jammu Municipal Corporation workers are targeting locals in the name of taxes, Challans and how that money is mis-used by Jammu Municipal Corporation ," said the corporators.
The corporators said that JMC has more than 200 vehicles adding that when the Covid pandemic was at peak on what basis bills were released and who cleared those bills. We had given written consent to Commissioner JMC but till date got no response so we are appealing LG to look in this matter.
