KATRA, Apr 3: It is very important that more and more people should invest in the Union Territory so that maximum employment is generated and the younger generation may get maximum work opportunities in the Union Territory itself and for that every effort including liberal financing and Tailor made schemes as requested would be provided to entrepreneurs, said Managing Director-cum-CEO J&K Bank Baldev Parkash.
Baldev Parkah was speaking in an interaction organised by Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra (HRAK) in association with Federation of Hotels, Restaurants, Industries & Commerce of Jammu Region (FHRICJR) here today.
He further said that all support and help would be provided to affected Tourism Sector and Hotel Industry in particular which was worst sufferer of Covid Pandemic and J&K Bank will leave no stone unturned in its revival so that it may reach its peak once again.
President HRAK/FHRICJR Rakesh Wazir, J&K Bank's President Jammu Zone Sunit Gupta, Zonal Head Rajesh Gupta, Cluster Head Ravi Kumar Sharma, Territory Manager BPCL, LPG, Sandeep Raina, Territory Manager BPCL Retail (Petrol Pumps) Eshu Kumar, Former Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma, Former MLA Baldev Raj Sharma, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Katra President & HRAK Sr. Vice President Virender Kesar, Hotel & Restaurant Association, Patnitop President Kushal Magotra, HRAK Vice President Vivek Sharma, Rajesh Sadhotra, Ravi Nag, Sunil Dogra, Hari Om Singh, Gautam Sharma etc. were also present,
Rakesh Wazir during his welcome address said that J&K Bank is the backbone of J&K economy and the level of presence of J&K Bank can be judged from the fact that when we talk about banking in J&K state particularly in rural areas, people relate it to J&K Bank only and J&K Bank too has played its role magnificently well.
He further said that liberal financing and tailor made schemes which are the highlights of the Bank be continued in future as well with more energy and zeal and in addition to that initiatives under social responsibility.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Tourism sector is the worst sufferer from last 3 years even before the Covid when the Amarnath yatra was stopped in the mid way and thereafter Covid Pandemic, were the reasons of the disaster of Tourism sector and need full support of the bank.
Kushal Magotra raised the issue of opening of J&K Bank's ATM counters besides a full-fledged branch of the Bank at Patnitop.
Parkash listened each and every point of the Industry people patiently and assured that sympathetic consideration will be given to each and every point.
