NBF, PHF, Team Resolvio celebrated Earth Day in Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 22: Nirbay Bharat Foundation, People's Hut Foundation and Team Resolvio celebrated Earth Day in Jammu commemorated with outdoor activities demonstrating support for environmental protection, these include planting trees, collecting roadside trash and conducting recycling and conservation programs. This year, with an aim to encourage people across the country to be more environmentally friendly, all the 3 NGO's came together and distributed planted 500 plants in Gajansoo area of Jammu. The plants were planted using eco-friendly techniques and planters gave a message to the people about- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle- Three great ways WE can eliminate waste and protect our environment!
Waste, and how we choose to handle it, affects our environment (The environment is everything around us including the air, water, land, plants, and man-made things). And since by now we probably know that you need a healthy environment for our own health and happiness, we can understand why effective waste management is so important to us and everyone else. The waste we create has to be carefully controlled to be sure that it does not harm our environment and our health. We can help by learning about and practicing the three R's of waste management: Reduce, reuse, and recycle! Practicing all three of these activities every day is not only important for a healthy environment, but it can also be fun too. So, let's take a pledge right now to become a key player in making our world a safe and healthy place.
The event was a great success with the help of participation and corporation of everyone. As Margaret Mead accuratelysaid "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.
The Nirbhay Bharat Foundation team was Led by Mr. Tarun Uppal, Chairperson - Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, People's Hut Foundation was Led by Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of People's Hut Foundation and Team Resolvio was Led by Mr. Suresh Kumar.
The other prominent personalities who participated in the event were Sarpanch of Gajansoo Panchayat Tilak Raj, Naib Sarpanch Mr.Ashwani Sharma along with others.
