JAMMU, Apr 22: Nirbay Bharat Foundation, People's Hut Foundation and Team Resolvio celebrated Earth Day in Jammu commemorated with outdoor activities demonstrating support for environmental protection, these include planting trees, collecting roadside trash and conducting recycling and conservation programs. This year, with an aim to encourage people across the country to be more environmentally friendly, all the 3 NGO's came together and distributed planted 500 plants in Gajansoo area of Jammu. The plants were planted using eco-friendly techniques and planters gave a message to the people about- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle- Three great ways WE can eliminate waste and protect our environment!
Waste, and how we choose to handle it, affects our environment (The environment is everything around us including the air, water, land, plants, and man-made things). And since by now we probably know that you need a healthy environment for our own health and happiness, we can understand why effective waste management is so important to us and everyone else.
