| 3 notorious drug peddler arrested by Kishtwar Police | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Apr 22: Under the banner of operation "Sanjeevani", Kishtwar Police nabbed 03 drug peddler and recovered 141 Gms of Cannabis (Charas) like substance from their Possession.
As per the details available with Early Times, special Naka led by SHO P/S Kishtwar Inspector Syed Abid Shah Bukhari was laid at Om Mehta Road crossing under the supervision of Dy. SP Hqrs Kishtwar Ashish Gupta and during extensive checking of vehicles and pedestrian, Police party noticed suspicious movement of three persons who were trying to escape checking. Subsequently, Naka party acted swiftly and overpowered the trio. While checking of these persons, naka party recovered Cannabis (Charas) like substance weighing about 141 gms from their possession and took them under custody.
The accused disclosed their identity as Mudassir Mehaj S/o Mehraj Din R/o Om Mehta Road, Saleem Javid S/o Javid Iqbal R/o Tanghowari & Mudassir Hussain S/o Ab Latief R/o Zawer Kishtwar.
In this regard a case FIR No. 91/2022 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at P/S Kishtwar and investigation taken-up.
SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt-JKPS in his messages said that "we will continue our mission to eradicate the menace of drugs from the district". |
