Class 11 students of GHSS Poonch demand online exams or mass promotion
4/26/2022 12:17:04 AM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

POONCH, Apr 25: The students of Class 11th of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Poonch on Monday urged the authorities to conduct their examinations in online mode or give them mass promotion due to the prevailing situation.
The students held a protest demonstration in the school ground demanding mass promotion or to conduct examinations in online mode.
The students said that due to lack of regular classes and high speed internet since last year, they haven’t been able to concentrate fully on their studies. The students said that they are continuously protesting in support of their demand to conduct their examination in online mode or mass promote them.
“Our future is at stake. We didn’t receive regular classroom studies. Appearing for examinations in an offline mode is difficult for us. We couldn’t attempt most of the questions in the exams held so far. Where will we go? Either the JKBOSE should conduct online exams or grant us mass promotion, if not then fail us,” a student said.
They urged higher authorities to conduct their examinations in online mode or mass promote them as they promoted other students in the past.
