4/26/2022 12:17:23 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 25: Scores of people who had come to witness the musical fountain show at Baghe-Bahu on Sunday evening were left disappointed as the electricity went off within a few minutes after the show commenced.
The people who had assembled to watch the show while talking to the local news channel said, “As soon as the 7pm show commenced the electricity went off. We were shocked to know that there is no generator and the show cannot resume.”
They said, “Soon after the electricity went off officials of the Tourism Department disappeared from the scene. We had to literally fight to get the ticket money back.”
A tourist who had arrived from Chandigarh said, “It’s strange that there is no backup to keep things moving. Musical fountain without a generator is unheard of.”
It’s in place to mention here that the musical fountain was inaugurated at Bagh-e-Bahu earlier this year as a step towards promoting tourism in Jammu region but unscheduled power cuts have left the visitors disappointed.
