Govt fails to release salaries of SPOs even on Eid
5/3/2022 11:36:43 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 3: President of All India Voice of Poor People and trade union leader Sewa Singh Bali led a protest here on Tuesday against the failure of the administration to release the salaries of Special Police Officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Talking to reporters Bali said, “It’s unfortunate that salaries of SPOs haven’t been released even on Eid. This shows that J&K government is least bothered about the difficulties being faced by the SPOs and their families.”
An Aam Admi Party leader who had also joined the protesters said, “The administration has failed. The SPOs have been deprived of their right to celebrate Eid. The government seems least interested in resolving any issue.”
He said, “The SPOs are those people who work 24x7. Many of them have lost their lives in the line of duty but they are being treated shabbily.”
