After more than a decade, Govt detaches over dozen influential teachers

Kishtwar, May 4: The Education Department Government of Jammu and Kashmir has finally decided to detach over a dozen influential government teachers attached in CEO and ZEO offices in Kishtwar District- some of them working in attached capacity since last more than 10 years.
As per the details available with Early Times, Government Order No:- 288-Edu of 2022 issued by Principal Secretary School Education has order the detachment of 13 teachers attached in CEO and ZEO offices in Kishtwar District.
“In the interest of administration, following officials deployed at the Office of Chief Education Officer Kishtwar/ZEO offices shall be deemed to have been relieved with immediate effect and are hereby directed to report to their original place of postings” read the government order.
The officials who had been ask to report at their original place of posting included Ashwani Kumar (CEO Office Kishtwar), Anoop Sharma, Master (CEO Office Kishtwar), Ashwani Kumar Sharma, teacher (CEO Office Kishtwar), Ajay Kumar, Teacher (CEO Office Kishtwar), Nasir Qazi, Teacher (CEO Office Kishtwar), Gh. Mohd Khandey, Teacher (ZEO Office Warwan), Zahid Hussain Malik, Teacher (ZEO Office Drabshalla) Subhash Kumar (Grade Il Teacher ZEO Office Nagseni), Raj Kumar (Grade II Teacher ZEO Office Inderwal), Abdul Latief Bandey (Grade Il Teacher ZEO Office Inderwal), Rakesh Kumar (Grade Il Teacher ZEO Office Drabshalla), Khaliq Hussain (Grade II Teacher ZEO Office Nagseni) and Rakesh Kumar (3rd Teacher ZEO Office Warwan).
“DO's shall withheld the salaries of those employees who failed to comply the order. Further, Director, School Education, Jammu/Kashmir and all Chief Education officers/Zonal Education Officers are directed to detach officials having stay of more than 3 years” read the order added that this is in continuation to earlier order (Govt. Order No. 1691-JK(Edu) of 2021 dated 10.12.2021) issued by Administrative department regarding detachment of all the attached/deployed staff”.
