| Two bovines smuggling attempts foiled; 02 vehicle seized; 06 bovines rescued: Police | | | Early Times Report
REASI, May 13: Drive against bovines smuggling in District Reasi continues, teams of District Police Reasi laid special nakas, arrested 02 bovine smugglers while rescuing 06 bovines being illegally transported by them, and seized 02 vehicles used for transporting the animals.
Team of Police check Post Dharmari laid a surprise naka at Chandhar Morh Area during checking, intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration No. JK20-7378 and rescued 04 bovines from the possession of Bovine smuggler namely Zaffar Hussain S/O Abdul Gani R/O Seela Tehsil Mahore District Reasi & Bhasharat Ali S/O Misher Din R/O Kansoli Tehsil Mahore District Reasi.
In this regards a case FIR No. 73/2022 U/S 188 IPC, 11(1)(a) PCA act, has been registered at Police Station Arnas and investigation initiated. Vehicle Tata mobile got seized and both the accused got arrested in the instant case.
In another incident Team of Police Post Talwara during surprise naka checking foiled bovines smuggling attempt in Talwara area during checking, intercepted a one Tata Mobile bearing registration No. JK11F 0942 and rescued 02 bovines. However taking the advantage of darkness smugglers fled away from the spot. Police party of Police Post Talwara on the job to trace them.
In this regards case FIR No. 111/2022 U/S 188 IPC and 11 PCA act. Stands registered at police station Reasi and investigations initiated. Reasi Police is leaving no stone unturned to eradicate the menace of Bovine Smuggling which is prerequisite to establish peace and tranquility in the region. |
