DLSA organises awareness program at Gurukul Hr Sec School Reasi

REASI, June 5: Under the able aegis of NALSA and as per the Action Plan issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority (JKLSA) for the month of May, 2022 and also under the able guidance and supervision of Mr. R.N.Watal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today organised an awareness program for the students of Gurukul Higher Secondary School, Reasi to mark the observance of "World Environment Day" under the theme (2022) " Only One Earth" Jugal Kishore, Teacher Government High School, Chinka and Panel Advocate Shalinder Bardawaj were the resource persons.
Jugal Kishore highlighted the importance of this day and also dwelled upon the solutions to preserve environment whereas Panel Advocate Shalinder Bardawaj deliberated upon the working of District Legal Services Authority, Reasi. Principal Gurukul Higher Secondary School also spoke on the occasion and Panel Advocate M.S.Mir conducted the proceedings of the program.
The awareness program was attended by Principal, Faculty members and students of the Gurukul Higher Secondary School, Reasi. The objective of organizing this awareness camp was to raise awareness among the students about what is the importance of Environment and to increase understanding about the different Environmental issues. At the end of the program a pledge was also taken by all the participants that they will live their life on the earth in a manner that contributes to sustaining nature for future visitors.
