JAMMU, June 5: Like every year, this year also the annual festival is being celebrated with great pomp in the famous Shani Dham Jourian. This information has been given by Abhishek Gupta, President of Shani Dev Seva Samiti and Spokesperson Pandit Sunny Sharma.
A meeting was called on Sunday in the Tehsil Jourian town Sani Mandir under Akhnoor sub-division of Jammu division under the Supervision of Abhishek Gupta, President of Shani Dev Seva Samiti, the committee was consulted regarding the preparations for the Shani Mahautsav Foundation Day people were consulted.
It was told from the side of the committee that Shani Maha Utsav will be celebrated with great pomp on Saturday, June 11, 2022. They said that the preparations for the festival are going on and the program is as follows: Five ratni Abhishek will be done of the holy Sheela of Shani Dev ji, after that a huge Bhandara will be opened by the Pandits by performing Havan Yagya, Kanya Poojan, Bhajan Kirtan.
The committee has demanded from the District Development Commissioner Jammu and ADGP Jammu, this time hundreds of devotees are expected to come here, security and other arrangements should be made from the administration. Talking to the reporters, Abhishek Gupta said that after two years due to the corona virus epidemic, these programs could not be held, after which a large number of devotees would reach to see Shani Dev ji. All the members of Shani Dev Seva Samiti were present on this occasion.
