JAMMU, June 5: The Narendra Modi Government has been working for the all-around development of theminorities without any appeasement, discrimination and political exploitation. Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) said this while addressing a mammoth gathering of minorities at Gole Panj Peer area of Talab Tillo during celebration of 8 years of completion of Modi Government under the banner "Sewa, Sushasan aur Gareeb Kalyan". Sharma said the allocation of funds in schemes like scholarships for minority students was more during the Modi Government than the previous UPA regime.
The program was organized by the Minority Morcha unit of District Jammu West under the leadership of its District President S.Sucha Singh (Corporator) in which several leaders of the party participated. District President Munish Khajuria, Vibagh Sangathan Mantri Inderjeet Sharma, Prabhari Karan Singh, State Secretary Ayodhya Gupta, District Coordinator Pawan Singh, District General Secretaries Karan Sharma & Rajesh Gupta, Corporator Sat Pal Karlopia and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that "We are empowering all poor, backwards and downtrodden people without any appeasement. We follow the Mantra of development without discrimination and empowerment with dignity, he said while addressing the gathering. He stated that on various welfare schemes of Modi Government 31 percent were allocated in 25 minority dominated areas under PM Awas Yojana, 33 percent beneficiaries of PM Kissan Samman Nidhi were minorities and 37 percent of beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana are minorities and 36 percent beneficiaries of PM Mudra Yojana also hail from minority communities which states that Modi Government is working hard for the welfare of the minorities, he added. He also stated that "We are working for the welfare of minorities without any political exploitation and without beating any drums.
Munish Khajuria said that every welfare scheme launched by the Modi Government in the last 8 years consists of every segment and minorities too constitute a major chunk in that. He said we are a party with a difference and we are not working on hollow slogans. We believe in hard work and we adopt a man to man approach policy so that our mission of Antyodaya can be achieved. He also stated that in these last 8 years the nation witnessed major development with regard to everything.
Sucha Singh said that BJP is the only party which thought about the welfare of the minorities and it will keep working hard until every minority segment is uplifted in the way it should be. He also lauded the works done by Former MLA for the welfare of minorities in Jammu West Assembly segment.
