Tony seeks PM's intervention to address deteriorating situation in J&K

Early Times Report
SUCHETGARH, June 10: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has made a fervent appeal to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his immediate intervention to stop the fast deteriorating situation in Jammu and Kashmir before it is too late.
In a statement issued to media here today, the Aam Aadmi Party leader castigated the Union Territory Administrative men and machinery for the failure on every front that has plunged this region into utter chaos and confusion thereby resulting in a serious law and order situation. He said that the hate mongers are ruling the roost in J&K due to which a wedge is being created between communities pitting them against each other. He lamented that the clashes that occurred in Bhaderwah the other day are the result of the antinational elements that use every opportunity to flare up the situation by floating rumours that have full potential of vitiating the peaceful atmosphere in this sensitive Union Territory. He added that such eventualities prove that the government has miserably failed in providing good governance in this part of the nation.
Tony lamented that the J&K Union Territory is passing through the most critical phase with the law and order situation going from bad to worse with every passing day. He said that the greatest challenge faced today is terrorism which has sprouted its ugly head yet again and the terrorists in consonance with the directions from their lords across the border have shifted to a new strategy of target killings to instill fear in the peaceful people of this region. Selective killings, blasts, and dangerous hate mongering have become a routine affair in this Union Territory which is struggling hard to come out of the morass thrust due to terrorism during the past over three decades, he added.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader asserted that the current situation demands strict action against the hate mongers who are hell bent upon weakening the universal brotherhood in this region. Besides, there is a need to initiate vigorous action against the perpetrators of mayhem and bloodshed to wipe out the menace of terrorism in J&K once for all.
Reiterating his appeal to the Prime Minister seeking his intervention to set the things right, Tony also appealed to the people of all communities to maintain calm and brotherhood at all costs.
