Family Welfare & Maternal Child Health care activities reviewed

REASI, June 29: The progress of different Family Welfare, Maternal Child Health care and Immunization activities were reviewed in Reasi at a meeting of Health department functionaries held under the aegis of Director General Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization UT of J&K/ Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Saleem Ur Rehman and on the directions of Chief Medical Officer, Dr Ravinder Singh Manhas.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mohd Yousaf Khan and attended by Medical Superintendent District Hospital Reasi, Dr Rajinder Kumar, BMO Reasi, Dr V Trisal, BMO Katra, Dr Gopal Dutt, BMO Pouni, Dr Rajneesh, DAC Reasi, officials of DPMU, BPMUs of all Blocks, DPC, DISM of Ayushman Bharat etc.
A detailed orientation was given to the participants about the implementation of various FW, MCH and Immunization activities, calculation of vaccination requirements and other logistics, Mobilisation of Beneficiary under ongoing World Population Fortnight 2022 and Registration of Beneficiaries for service delivery phase starting from 11th July 2022. Registration of PMJAY Sehat beneficiaries, Reporting of AEFI Cases, weekly reporting of AMB, due list of beneficiaries of COVID Vaccination was also shared with all concerned.
Conveying 5 key messages to the mother's about routine vaccination, cold chain maintenance and timely reporting n uploading of work done on HMIS after proper verification of data.
In the end all the participants assured that they shall work with zeal and determination to achieve the desirable estimated level of achievement.
