JAMMU, June 29: BJP J&K Mahila Morcha Spokesperson Ritika Trehan Wednesday strongly condemned gruesome murder of 40-year-old tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Rajasthan's Udaipur on Tuesday. Condemning the incident, she appealed to the people to maintain peace while demanding strict punishment for those involved in the murder. Expressing deep shock over heinous killing of tailor, she called for immediate punishment for those spreading terror through such brutality. Brutality in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those spreading terror through such brutality should be punished immediately," she said . The culprits should get the harshest punishment. Spreading hatred and violence in the name of religion is fatal for our country and society. We have to together strengthen the efforts for peace and non-violence," she said. Condemning the incident, she demanded harshest punishment for those creating such controversies in the society and aiming to get benefitted politically from it. The Udaipur incident is very horrifying and gruesome. Such dastardly acts have no place in a civilized society. We condemn this in the strongest terms. |
