JKPF organise function to honour the Martyr families belonging to Jammu and Kashmir

JAMMU, July 1: Jammu Kashmir Peoples Forum, a social and Non- political organization is organizing a function on 24.07.2022 (Sunday) to honour the Martyr families belonging to Jammu and Kashmir to mark the supreme sacrifices made by the soldiers/officers belonging to Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and armed forces including CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB and the soldiers belonging to Jammu Kashmir Police who sacrificed their lives for safeguarding the territorial and national integrity of India/ Bharat and maintaining peace in the nation since 1947 till date. The function is being presided over by Hon'ble Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh Ji and the main speaker in the function would be Dattatreya Hosabale, General Secretary (Sar-karyavah) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The venue of the function would be at Gulshan Ground, Jammu opposite Jammu University and the function would start at 10:30 am and would culminate at 01:30 pm.
About 2,000 families of the martyrs belonging to Jammu and Kashmir would be honoured and facilitated in this function by the Hon'ble Defence Minister and other dignitaries including the Senior Officers of Armed Forces and Police Forces to celebrate and commemorate 75th year of Independence of India and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements as AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV. The participants in the function would be the retired persons of the different Armed Forces and Prominent Personalities of J&K.
The press conference in this regard addressed by Ramesh Sabharwal in the presence of Lt.Gen.RK Sharma (Retired), Adv. Raghu Mehta, Ashok Gupta and Adv. Vikas Sharma.
