| GDC Jourian celebrates National Doctor's Day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 1: Govt. Degree College Jourian celebrated National Doctor's Day today on July 01, 2022 under the aegis of IQAC, NSS unit, Health &Eco Club and Activity/Cultural Affairs Committee of the college under Shikshit Bharat and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Programme to recognise the role and services of doctors and medical staff in serving the lives of the people.
NSS volunteers alongwith the members of the staff visited Community Health Centre Jourian and presented hand written thank you messages on placards to the doctors and other medical staff working in CHC to acknowledge their services especially amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Anjali Mehra, Riya Sharma, Anu Gupta and Taniya Rajput students of semester VI prepared the placards.
Principal Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma applauded the services of the doctors and other medical staff who are working day and night risking their lives to save their patients. He appreciated the spirit and dedication of the doctors and other medical staff of the CHC Jourian who continued to work untiringly in the hour of crisis during the pandemic.
Dr. Rakesh Bharti (Convener IQAC), Prof. Naseeb Kumar Bhagat (Convener Health &Eco Club), Dr. Rimjhim Gupta (Convener Activity/Cultural Affairs Committee) and Dr. Vandana Rajput (NSS Programme Officer) also accompanied NSS volunteers during the visit. |
