ASSOCHAM appoints Bhupesh as Co-chairman for J&K Council

JAMMU, July 9: The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) today appointed its new Co-Chairman and sectoral convenors for Jammu and Kashmir Development council. Bhupesh Gupta, Managing Partner, Radisson Blu Jammu has been appointed as Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K Development Council, Dr. Ankur Gupta, Director, MIET has been appointed as Convenor for Education Council, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Managing Director, REPL has been appointed as Convenor for IT Council and Nigam Gupta, Managing Director, Hexamed Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed as Convenor for Health and Medical Infra Council of ASSOCHAM J&K Council. Co-Chairman and Sectoral convenors were announced in the Second Council meeting of ASSOCHAM J&K Development Council held at Hotel Radisson Blu Jammu on Saturday, which was chaired by Manik Batra, Chairman ASSOCHAM J&K Development Council. Manik Batra while congratulating the new Co-Chairman and sectoral Convenors said, "I Congratulate our new Co-Chairman and sectoral Convenors for this new beginning. As our chapter is expanding, we wanted to appointed sectoral convenors, who are experts in their respective sectors, so that ASSOCHAM can represent their sectors in a better way." "We look forward to further strengthen our council and work together for the holistic growth of Jammu and Kashmir," he added. Batra also felicitated new Co-Chairman and sectoral heads with ASSOCHAM Badges and plants. "I am thankful to ASSOCHAM for showing their trust in me and a special thanks to Manik Batra and the entire J&K development council of ASSOCHAM. I am accepting this designation with a responsibility to work for the betterment of the Trade and Industry of Jammu and Kashmir," said Bhupesh Gupta, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K Development Council. Some more issues related to trade and industry of Jammu and Kashmir were also discussed during the meeting.
