Jammu, July 12: Department of Education of GDC, R.S. PURA conducted a seminar to celebrate World Population Day under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and IQAC. The seminar was organized under the worthy patronage of Principal, Prof. Sunil Uppal and supervision of Prof. Swati, HOD, Education. A total of 15 students participated in the event and shared their views related to the theme of the seminar. The event was adjudged by Dr. Neena Gupta, HOD, English and Dr. Savtanter Kour, HOD, History. Ashu of Semester IV bagged first position, Samriti Sharma of Semester IV got second position and Paras of Semester IV secured third position. The Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the faculty members of the Department of Education for organizing the above said event and encouraged the students to keep on doing such activities in future also. Certificates of participation were also issued by the Principal of the College to the participants. The whole event was coordinated by Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Assistant Professor in Department of Education. |
