JAMMU, July 25: Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) honored Anil Bhat, Bureau Chief PTI on being awarded with the most prestigious and highest State award of J&K for excellence in Journalism in the UT. Sharma was also accompanied by Corporator Sanjay Baru, Mandal President BJP Keshav Chopra, BJP leaders KL Sharma and others. Pertinent to mention, Bhat made a foray in journalism in 1994 and has been serving as the Bureau Chief of PTI since 2010. He is also a recipient of Lala Jagat Narain, Clean India media foundation and Harmony foundation awards apart from GOC-In-C commendation certificate.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a great honor for the reputed journalist as his service has brought a great name for the media fraternity and has also made Jammu proud of its son. He said that his fearless service towards his profession and his dedication to serve shows his commitment to the cause. Sharma also said that J&K has extraordinary and committed journalists who are working tirelessly so that reality could reach to the people without any bias. Sharma also lauded his work for the society and congratulated him for the prestigious award he received from the Government.
Anil Bhat also thanked the Former Minister and other leaders for honoring him and said that he will keep working for the society so that reality could be delivered to the public in every way possible. He also said that he will keep working hard to make his fraternity reach new heights in the field of journalism.
Sanjay Baru and Keshav Chopra also congratulated the senior journalist and said that people like Anil Bhat make us proud and they are doing good work for the society.
