National Grappling Championship: Tarun felicitates young sportsperson bringing laurels to J&K

JAMMU, Aug 26: The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has no dearth of talent but there is need for identifying and providing best available coaching to them so that they find their rightful place in the national and international events.
This was stated by Tarun Uppal, Chairperson Nirbhay Bharat Foundation while felicitating young players of J&K UT who won medals in 15th National Grappling Championship 2022 held at Sonipat, Haryana. Those who brought laurels to J&K UT include Sundervi Billowria (Gold), Aman Gupta (Bronze), Abhi Dadwal (Bronze), Tanmeet Kour (Bronze), Suryansh Singh Rajput (Bronze), Anmol Kumar (Bronze) and Trushi Gupta (Bronze).
Tarun Uppal said Jammu has traversed a long way over the years with its youth making big mark in every sphere of activity-art, sports, academics and culture. He said the victory of these youth is yet another feather in the saga of successes Jammu is credited with.
Tarun Uppal complemented the Trust namely INARA for providing training and all logistic support in brining laurels to the Union Territory. He extended best wishes to all the players and hoped that they will give their best in the upcoming tournaments and will become role model for others. He also suggested J&K youth as well as players to work hard in whatever sport they have taken as there is no substitute to hard work.
Founder INARA Aman Gupta underscored the need for creation of infrastructural facilities to enable talented J&K youth to compete at the national and international events. He said that his aim to make a better community for the athletes. He also expressed gratitude to Tarun Uppal for extending all possible support to these youth and encouraging them for their bright future.
