IRCS organises First-Aid training programme

JAMMU, Sept 24: On the request of Jyothy Laboratories Ltd., 4 days First-Aid training programme has been conducted by Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region for the employees of the Jyothy Laboratories Ltd, Lane II, Phase II, Sidco Industrial Complex, Bari Bari Brahamana, Samba w.e.f 20th September to 24th September, 2022.
The lecture was delivered/ demonstrated by Dr. Aasia Noor, Dr. Kavita Nijhon Verma, Medical Officers, Kanchan Devi, Sup. Pharmacist alongwith Vironica Marwah, Field Officer. The students were apprised of the various techniques of First-Aid Kit, wounds, bandages, types of fractures, bleeding emergencies, burns etc. Emphasis was laid on the Management of injuries, fracture, control of bleeding, practical demonstration of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, transfer of injured patient were done with the active participation and interaction from the students. Apart from this there were some queries made by the employees regarding the untoward situations arises in the company. The employees were found quite sincere and the training programme was quite fruitful and concluded with good positivity.
Sat Pal Sharma, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region is always one step ahead in organizing such training programmes at different places for the betterement of the society as well as the lay man. He always made sure that every employee shall be trained in a proper way about the basic First-Aid programme so that they may not face any threat to their lives in upcoming future.
