JAMMU, Nov 12: Former Minister and President, Jammu Kashmir National Conference, Central Zone, Babu Rampaul today discussed the prevailing political scenario with office bearers of Jammu district (Urban) and asked them to vigorously launch mass outreach programme in their respective areas.
The meeting which was organized by Jammu District (Urban) President, Chander Mohan Sharma, attended by all the office bearers and block presidents. Babu Rampaul was the chief guest on the occasion.
In the meeting, Babu Rampaul thoroughly discussed the current political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir with the party functionaries and asked them to fully gear up for Assembly elections which can be announced anytime next year.
He maintained that JKNC have always remained a first choice for people of J&K as it has done tremendous works for upliftment of masses. "But given the current situation it is important for each and every functionary of the party to launch a vigorous campaign ahead of the upcoming elections to ensure full public support for the party, " he said.
Those who attended the meeting included Vijay Laxmi Dutta, S. Surinder Singh Bunty, Ayub Malik, Waris Gill, Dr Vikas Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, S. Nirmal Singh, Aslam Choudhary, Satpaul, Surjeet Singh Sasan, Tharu Ram, Ashwani Charak, Mohd Shabir Sambyal, Ashok Kumar, Joginder Pal, Parshotam, Rajinder Khajuria, Nitish Goswami, Tejinder Pal Singh, Gurnam Singh, Vivek Gupta, Ramjee Koul, and Ramesh Abrol.
