| Advocates of Poonch thank LG administration and media for quick action | | |

Poonch, Dec 1: Few days ago advocates of Bar Association Poonch, highlighted the problem faced by the common masses regarding attestation of Pension Affidavits required in Social welfare Department. The LG Administration acted upon the request of advocates and common masses and modified the earlier order and now authorised the Executive Magistrates 1st Class along with the Judicial Magistrates to attest those affidavits.
Today, in a press conference Adv. Bhanu Partap, Adv Tahir Mehmood and Adv Navjot Sharma expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the LG administration and Social welfare department for Amendment of order
Passed by the Department of social welfare J&K. They said this will bring relief to the public which was suffering as the Judicial Magistrates are already burdened with piling litigation and other routine functions. The LG Administration acted in a responsive manner and this is an example of good governance which everyone is appreciating. At last the advocates said this would not have been possible without the intervention of Media who raised this issue and brought relief to the needy people
