Sikh organization holds condolence meeting

JAMMU, Dec 18: Sikh organizations express grief on the demise of Dr Masud Choudhary while addressing a meeting of various sikh organizations S. Sudershan singh wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&k deeply mourned the untimely death of Dr Masud Choudhary who was an iconic figure of J&K and shall be always remembered for his excellent work done in Social, Cultural and Administrative era of J&K.
While addressing the meeting wazir said that his name will go in the history in golden letters as his service shall be remembered by all sections of society which he rendered in the field of education social upliftment of weaker sections and downtrodden of the society especially Gujjars and Bakarwals and Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribes among other minorities. His administrative acumen was remarkable as a police officer and he was perhaps the first JK cadre police officer from jammu who retired as Additional Director General of Police.
His dream of doing something for the people living in the far flung was made to realized by Mufti Government because of his untiring efforts Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University was established at Rajouri and he was appointed the first Vice chancellor of the university. He pioneered the university from its very inception and bought it on the national map and today this university as educated thousands of young men and women in various streams.
His love and dedication towards the society can be gauged from the fact that he established a Gurjar Desh Trust and established a highly internationally acclaimed cultural center at jammu which was not only a hub of cultural and literary activities but a center of highest learning as well which was visited by one and all who so ever mattered in the country. He was a Secular, Social and a Sympathizer of every body in need. His sincerity towards his friends and family and the civil society shall be remembered forever. It is pertinent to mention that he is one of the highest decorated police officers of the country.
