Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha passes amendments in its Constitution

JAMMU, Dec 18: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS held its Working Committee Meeting on December 18, 2022, under the Chairmanship of Romesh Chander Gupta, President of the sabha).
The meeting started with chanting of Gayatri Mantra. The Constitutiin book, which has been translated from Urdu to Hindi was release by Yash Pal Gupta (Chief Patron), Romesh Chander Gupta (President) , Harinder Gupta, Shiv Partap Gupta (Sr Vice Presidents), Sanjay Mahajan (General Secretary) and Dr Mohan Lal Gupta (Caisher).
Some of the required amendments were made and unanimously passed in one voice under the ammendment Committee Chairman Yash Pal Gupta (Chief Patron). The suggestions from the members were also agreed and included . The last ammendment in Constitution was made in the year 1999 and keeping in view the need of the time the major ammendments were made today. These amendments include increase in the tenure of the President from 2 years to 3 years, which will not exceed 6 years i. e.maximum 2 tenures continously.
Amendment has been made to reopen the life membership with fee of Rs.1100/- and the eligibility for contesting the election of Presidentship, all the delegates, working Committee members ,office bearers must have life membership.
Further, the existing Life membership will be renewed by deposting Rs 100. The strength of Patron , office bearers, working Committee Members will not exceed from 275 members. Besides it Half yearly account was also passed unanimously with thumping majority. The general house also passed it .
The prominent personalities of the Biridari who were present in the meeting were Subash Jandial, Dinesh Gupta (Councilor) , K B Jandial, Mukesh Mahajan, Balbir Gupta , Subash Gupta, Rajesh Choudhary, Atul Gupta, Major C.L Gupta, Dr Bimal Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Mrityunjay Gupta, Ram Kumar, Om Parkash Gupta, Ravi Rohmetra ,K.K Gupta, Nirmal Gupta and others.
