| 36th convocation of IGNOU to be held on April 3, President be chief guest | | | agencies
NEW DELHI, Feb 15: The 36th Convocation of IGNOU will be held on 3rd April 2023. Droupadi Murmu, Hon'ble President of India, has given her consent to be the chief guest on the occasion. It has been decided by the University administration that the Convocation will be organised at 33 Regional Centres across the Country including the Regional Centre Jammu and the remaining Regional Centres will be clubbed.
All those students who have successfully completed their respective programmes in December 2021 and June 2022 Term-End Examinations are eligible to receive their Degree/Diploma certificates in the 36th Convocation.
The University has created a portal for the eligible students which can be accessed directly following the online link https://onlineservices.ignou.ac.in/convocation/ under the title "Online Registration for 36th Convocation" available on the University's website www.ignou.ac.in for the students' registration for the Convocation. The students who register and give their consent to receive the degree in person would be invited as per IGNOU guidelines to confer the Degree in the Convocation ceremony. Those who register and give their consent to receive Diploma/Degree through post would be sent their respective Degree/Diploma/Certificate through Speed Post after the Convocation ceremony.
"All the students of Regional Centre Jammu who have successfully completed their programmes of study in the Term-End Examinations held in December 2021 and June 2022 are advised to register online immediately for the 36th Convocation and in case of any difficulty in registration please drop a mail to official email ID of the Regional Centre", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director In charge. |
