Kavinder slams SP MP for remarks on 'Hindu Rashtra' linking it to religion

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 17: Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has damned the Samajwadi Party Member Parliament Dr. Barq for issuing a highly controversial statement that has the potential of creating communal tension and law and order problem across the action. He said that it is most unfortunate that the opposition parties and their leaders are hell bent upon instigating particular community members against the BJP Govt by giving religious and communal colour to every statement of BJP leaders.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Samajwadi Party Member Parliament Dr. Barq has said "There was never any Ramraj in India nor is there Ramraj in India and there will never be any Ramraj in India." The SP leader had stated this in the context of Yogi Adityanath's Hindu Rashtra saying that though Yogi Adityanath is my friend but his statement of Hindu Rashtra is absolutely wrong.
The former Deputy Chief Minister, while strongly castigating the SP leader and others of his ilk in the opposition, asserted that Hindutva and Hindu Rashtra is a way of living and philosophy the roots of which can be traced back to the era of Indus Valley Civilization and this land was the land inhabited by Hindus only. He said that it needs to be realized by all the Muslims of this nation that they are all Hindus converted to Islam after the Muslim invaders came to India, with some returning back after loot and plunder while some preferring to stay and rule India as is evidenced by history. He said that over centuries the idea of Hindu Rashtra and Ram Rajya evolved as an inseparable part of the cultural ethos of the region.
Kavinder asserted that Hindu Rashtra or Ram Rajya are not linked to religion but are ideologies or thoughts embedded with rich humanitarian values vouching for mutual coexistence.
