NYT, BBC conspiring with some nations to denigrate India: Kavinder
3/10/2023 10:38:00 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader has pooh-poohed the New York Times and some other agencies of its ilk for promoting an anti India agenda by spreading canards about the World's largest democracy just to denigrate India and its people.
Strongly condemning the New York Times management for the opinion piece published by it regarding freedom of press in Kashmir, Kavinder Gupta said that the fact is that these media agencies including the NYT and the BBC have thrown their professional ethics to winds and are known for their mischievous antics rather tantrums. He said, "I have no inhibition in saying that it is such media agencies are responsible for promoting hatred, dividing communities, justifying terrorism violations of International laws by many nations. Such agencies want to keep the underdeveloped and the developing nations engaged in the aforesaid crisis and remain devoid of progress and prosperity."
The senior BJP leader said that wrong propaganda against India is no new thing for India as it has happened earlier too and continues even today. It is totally intolerable and unacceptable to the people of this nation especially to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said, "We are already fighting the Pak Propaganda and have successfully failed it time and again in India. Similarly we are fully capable of failing all such efforts by some agencies with vested interest to denigrate India which has moved fast under the PM Modi's leadership and holds a leading position in international affairs as of today. Since this is irking many nations especially the ones working in conspiracy with our neighbours Pakistan and China to stop India from becoming the 'Vishwa Guru', therefore they are making dying efforts to bring down the BJP Govt led by PM Modi by spreading false propaganda to create problems for our nation.
Kavinder Gupta said that India has long been successfully peddling lies about our democracy and pluralistic society. The whole world knows that freedom of press in India is one of the most sacrosanct rights. Moreover the people in India can clearly see the malicious game plans behind NYT and BBC and just like before they will fail all such plans of the anti India section of global media with full might.
