JAMMU, Mar 11: Investiture ceremony was held at GDC, Marh to entrust responsibility the young leaders so that they can discharge their duties honestly, sincerely and rest of their abilities. The programme was commenced under the chairmanship of worthy Principal Prof. Rakesh Kumar Koul. Badges of different categories, President Atul Narayan Singh, NSS Incharge Anvish Gorkhay, Vice-President Abhishek Kumar (Boys) Vice President Sanjana Bhagat (Girls) Co - President Simran Koul, Head Boy Harsh Mehra, Head Girl Muskan Chib, Advisor Arjun Kesar, General Secretary Ritik Kesar, Discipline Secretary Akhil Sharma, Joint Secretary Pritipaul, Joint Secretary Pankaj Trilokia, Treasure Vivek Chalotra, Cultural Secretary Shivani Devi, Communication Secretary Prerna Balgotra, Media Secretary Vivek Sharma, Literally Secretary Shriya Chib, Sports Secretary Eshaan Saini were pinned up by the respected Principal Sir and staff members during the investiture ceremony. In the keynote address, Principal Sir wished and congratulated the students for their leadership quality.
The guest of honour i.e. Principal Prof Rakesh Kumar Koul said that each student is unique and have a potential to lead the college and in future all of them will be the nation builders. Pledge was administered by Student Welfare Committee and taken by the students where they promise to uphold the values and traditions of the college campus. After that torch ceremony took place in which lightening of torch was done by Principal Sir Prof. Rakesh Kumar Koul and then handed to President Atul Narayan Singh and whole presidium of college as a symbol of performing all duties and responsibilities for the welfare of college. Student's body also represent themselves and express their feelings and gratitude towards the college. In the end, National Anthem was sung by all present in the ceremony.
