Jodhamal Juniors celebrate "Graduation Day"

JAMMU, Mar 18: To mark the significance of schooling in the lives of toddlers, Jodhamal Public School acknowledged each one in the form of Graduation day, a gracious passing out ceremony of class UKG students of Jodhamal Juniors.
The chief guest for the function was Lt. Col. Rahul Kasana and guest of honour was Shweta Gupta Kansal. The Special Guests were Yasha Mudgal, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Govt. and Sunil Kumar Sharma (Former Minister).
Little toddlers were very excited to receive their passing out from Pre-Primary to Grade-1 certificates, in their black gowns and smart caps.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. The School Principal, Dr. Deep Khare, extended a welcome to all the guests and parents and congratulated all the parents. Neetu Johri, Coordinator Pre-primary Wing, presented the Annual report, highlighting accolades and laurels notched by the students.
More than 200 Prizes were distributed to the winners in Inter School Competitions and to those who performed exemplary at National Level in various co-curricular activities. Special mention was the 4-year-old Anvika Mahajan of LKG who created history and entered in 'India Book of Records' by creating 05 records. Shaurya, Aayan Sharma ,Viraansh Gupta participated in skating national level at Banglore, and also Hargobind Singh Sodhi and Avnit Malhotra and Krishay Mahajan of UKG won Gold Medal in Karate at State Level. Hargun Kaur of LKG has been first prize in Fancy Dress competition organized by Delighted Champs.
A cultural bonanza was presented by students to mesmerize the audience staring with Shiv Vandana. Salsa (Senorita song), Women Empowerment Dance and Kathak Fusion dance were the highlights of the show.
Zumba and free style dance performances presented by the little kids stole the show, followed by a party song by our juniors. Each item was one better than other.
Lastly the students of UKG had participated in Trinity Young Performers certificate assessment exhibiting great confidence, group interaction skills through stories, songs and roles. Being assessed by examiner from Trinity college of London. The students received certificates from the chief guest.
Lt. Col. Rahul Kasana said education helps the child to provide an environment, so that the child becomes what they are capable of becoming.
The graduation ceremony was culmination of three years kindergarten enrichment program consisting of Pre-Nursery, LKG and UKG. The Chief Guest along with Nandan Kuthiala, Arati Kuthiala awarded the Graduation Certificates to the students, who had completed their 3 years journey.
Vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Shefali Sanwal. She appreciated the efforts of Neetu Johri (Coordinator), Deepali Puri (CCA In-charge), the entire Pre- primary teachers (Dolly Chandoke, Amita Charak, Suvidha Anand, Anjali Gupta, Shreya Sharma, Priyanka Verma, Gagandeep Kour, Vinti Bhasin, Preeti Puri), Music & Dance Department (Shruti Bakshi, Aadi Upadhayay, Shivali Rai, Deepak, Rohit, Sugandha Sharma) and Art & Craft Department (Aman, Hemu Jaggi, Sonika). The Led effects were displayed by Surbhi Mahajan and Christina.
The School management and Principal, Dr. Deep Khare applauded the efforts of students and school staff for preparing the students so well.
