JCCI elects office bearers; Arun Gupta is Prez, Anil Gupta Sr Vice-Prez

Jammu, Apr 23: Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) elected its office bearers for the year 2023-25 here on Sunday.
Arun Gupta was elected as the president as he secured 1522 while his opponent Rakesh Gupta bagged 1148 votes.
Anil Gupta was declared as senior vice- president as he secured 1697 votes. Other contenders for the post Surinder Mahajan bagged 862 votes, while Rajinder Gupta got 116 votes.
Rajeev Gupta was elected as junior vice president as he bagged 1632 votes while his opponent Ashu Gupta got 1017 votes.
Manish Gupta was elected as Secretary General as he secured 1467 votes and defeated his opponents Deepak Aggarwal, who got 1013 votes and Ajay Langer who bagged 183 votes.
Rajesh Gupta was elected as Secretary as he secured 1291 votes and his opponents Raj Gupta got 847 votes and MukeSh Gupta bagged 513 votes.
Rajesh Gupta was elected as treasurer as he bagged 1747 votes against his opponent Manik Gupta who got 926 votes.
Pertinently, the biennial elections of Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the term 2023-2025 were held at Chamber House under the supervision of the election committee headed by Shiv Partap Gupta.
The election president thanked the team of his election committee comprising of Manmohan Singh, Vijay Gupta, Anil Gupta , Kulbushan Gupta, and the polling staff for their contribution in conducting peaceful, free, fair and transparent elections.
The election president also thanked all the members who participated in such a large number by casting their valuable votes and elected their future leader for the term 2023-2025.
