Addressing common people's issues priority of BJP Govt: Kavinder

JAMMU, May 4: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has reiterated that BJP Govt's commitment to provide the basic necessities including drinking water to the people in every nook and corner of the nation. He said that this can be well gauged from the fact that the significant Jal Jeevan Mission launched by the Govt in this direction successfully achieved the 'Har Ghar Jal' target across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
He expressed this while addressing a gathering after inaugurating two motors of 350 HP at Bahu Pumping Station Boria Complex. Corporator Sharda Kumari also graced the occasion. The aforesaid two water motors of 350 HP has installed at an estimated cost of Rs. 60 lakh.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that the installation of aforesaid water motors in the ward was a long pending demand of the people of the area. He said that the completion of this project has brought relief to the people of Ward No. 47 & 48. He asserted that addressing the problems of the common people has always been the priority of the Bharatiya Janata Party Govt led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre as serving the people of the nation is the core of BJP's unmatched ideology.
Kavinder said that the Prime Minister is specially inclined towards Jammu and Kashmir and its people and that there is no dearth of funds when it comes to the development of this Union Territory.
Kavinder Gupta also appreciated the efforts of Corporator Sharda Kumari for taking interest in addressing issues of general public. He said this all was possible only due to her dedicated efforts and the urge to serve the people of the Ward. He hoped that Corporator Sharda Kumari will continue the spree of development for the welfare of common masses.
Corporator Sharda Kumari said that Bhartiya Janata Party always works for the welfare of people and will leave no stone unturned to do so. She said that there are more projects in pipeline for the area and the same shall be taken up in a phased manner.
Among those who were present include Vivek Patyal, Sunny Sangotra, Ajay Sharma, Krishan Chander, Davinder Singh, Surinder Patyal, Rakesh Bhardwaj, AEE Civil PHE Rajesh Gandotra and JEE Arun Nagotra.
