LFO-BHF hosts national youth exchange programme

JAMMU, May 5: Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) is hosting 1st ever National Youth Exchange Programme (NYEP) in J&K, U.T on theme "Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs Menance" & National Youth Excellence Award-2023 which is scheduled to take place from 5-7 May at P.S.P.S P.G COLLEGE FOR WOMEN, Gandhi Nagar and is Powered by Talla Jewellers.
Day 1 programme inaugurated by Former Cabinet Minister R.S Chib where in Morning session, Meenu Mahajan, Principal of GCW Gandhi Nagar (Guest Of Honour), Jasvir Singh, DDC Panchari (Guest of Honour), Nidhi Abrol, Founder & President of Gracious Giver (Special Guest) & Neelam Bhagat (Auditorium Incharge) collectively inaugurated the programme followed by Poster Making Competition and Symposium Competition conducted under the theme "Role of Youth in Nation Building By Raising Voice Against Drugs Menance" in which various students from different institutions took part.
In evening, Rajinder Sharma, Mayor of Jammu (Chief Guest) inaugurated the Cultural Programme followed by Ranjeet Kour, JKASS (Guest Of Honour), Mala Basin, NSS Coordinator of Cluster University (Guest of Honour), Poornima from Karnataka.
While briefing media persons Vivek Parihar (Director & C.E.O) said that, almost 16 states are participating in this programme and we are going to honour 25 Social Workers from all over the nation for their continuous and tireless efforts for making this world a better place for every living being.
This programme serves as a platform for youth from all over the country to come together and engage in discussions, workshops and activities that promote inclusivity and diversity.
The NYEP aims to foster cross-cultural exchange and provide a space for young people to share their experiences and ideas. Through its interactive sessions, it promotes social harmony, and encourages personal and professional growth, making it an important event for the youth of the country.
The highlight of the programme is the Inter-Cultural Evening, where participants showcase their culture and traditions through performances, decoration and cuisine.
