JAMMU, June 6: Under the able guidance of Dr. Meeru Abrol, Principal of the college, the NSS Unit of GCW Bhagwati Nagar organized a meaningful plantation drive to celebrate World Environment Day. The event took place within the college premises and brought together enthusiastic students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers to plant a diverse range of trees and plants. The objective of the plantation drive was to contribute to biodiversity enhancement, combat deforestation, and address the challenges posed by climate change. By introducing these green allies into our surroundings, the college aimed to actively participate in the restoration and conservation of nature. During the event, Dr. Meeru Abrol, the college's principal, emphasized the significance of the initiative and expressed pride in organizing the plantation drive dedicated to World Environment Day.
